What Can You Do with the E28A Visa?
- Live in Indonesia legally for one or two years.
- Enter and exit freely during the visa’s validity.
- Travel around Indonesia or even leave and return whenever needed.
- Open a local bank account in Indonesia.
- Apply for an Indonesian driver’s license.
- Buy and register vehicles (cars, motorbikes) in your name.
- Rent or purchase property (Hak Pakai rights—up to 30 years with renewal options).
- Live with your family (if they meet the eligibility criteria).
- Get local health services at Indonesian rates.
- Obtain an Indonesian tax number (NPWP) (becomes mandatory after 183 days of stay, making you a tax resident).
