Can I enter Indonesia without a visa?

- For citizens of the Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and 83 other countries, a visa on arrival VOA or other multiple or single entry visa is required.

- Citizens of Brunei, the Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, East Timor and Vietnam can enter Indonesia without a visa for tourism purposes for up to 30 days.

- Citizens of Afghanistan, Israel, North Korea, Liberia, Nigeria and Somalia must obtain a visa before arriving in Indonesia.

What documents are needed to register a company in Indonesia?

- To register a company, you need to provide foreign passports of all founders. If you plan to open a company remotely, you will need powers of attorney signed electronically.

Are there any fines for overstaying a visa?

- The fine for one day of overstaying a visa is IDR 1,000,000. You are allowed to stay up to 60 days beyond the deadline without deportation fines. Overstaying for more than 60 days is considered a crime and can be punished with a prison term of up to 5 years and a fine of up to IDR 500 million.
